They are just as good as the comic books you find in comic stores, only difference is, it's yours! And can be for your eyes only if you wish.

Once you have your personalized comic book you can print as many copies as you like, it's yours to do as you want. if you want to create a comic book and plan to sell it, then the pricing is a bit different. We will need to chat about this, every project is different.

Now if you really want to spoil your partner with a super romantic anniversary gift, then this is it. We will turn your love story together into a personalized comic book, capturing all your special moments together. We might start from the first moment you laid eyes on each other, followed by your first date, first 'i love you', and then perhaps move on to your engagement, wedding, honeymoon, kids, pets.....we can include any memories you wish. And we don't need photos of everything, we can make a lot up, find photos to reference online etc. So don't worry if you don't have many photos. We also don't copy photos for every comic panel, we might say copy your favourite wedding photo because thats special, but the rest we prefer to draw using our imaginations, often referencing several photos at once.

A personalized comic book for business

Yes we even create personalized comic books for business, an entertaining way to showcase your business and what you do. We have quite a large client base within the tech industry throughout the US and the Europe, including Microsoft and Google. But we have also created comics for charities, a car wash, mechanics, restaurants and other types of businesses.

A comic is a good way to explain about a product or service, why people need it and how it works. These days people don't have much time, but they can absorb information from images much faster than from text only. Plus it's a lot more entertaining and fun to read about a business in comic book format.

A personalized comic book to sell

We have created personalized comic books for private client who intend to sell the comic in the future. We work with them to create the brand and the characters and we also assist with the storyline. To date we have worked on 3 comic book series, all of which are in the pipeline to be released in the future.

We especially love working on these projects as we get to work with people who are as fanatical about comics as us. It's so fun to develop the characters and brainstorm the storyline, we can get really involved. It's also great to work on a long term project and see it evolve.

How do I get started?

So every personalized comic book should start with a conversation, reach out to us on the chat feature or via email (hello@makemeacomic.com) and let's have a chat. It can be hard to know how many comic pages and panels you need, so by us brainstorming the story first, we can give you a fairly good idea.

The next step is to make your purchase, and then we will ask you questions and request photos. Once we have all the information we will draft out the comic book. We will send it to you for your feedback, and apply any edits you request.

We will then complete the comic, inking and colouring it. And you get another opportunity to make edits, at this stage just small things like text, colours and likeness to characters.
